Bigdog Welding and Fabrication is led by Ben Callaghan, the director and founder, who brings over 25 years of experience in the sheet-metal and fabrication industry. Ben began his career immediately after school, completing his apprenticeship and working on numerous FIFO projects across Australia, including a significant position at a solar farm project in Townsville, Queensland.

The addition of custom laser cutting services in February 2023 was a stroke of genius that catapulted the company into a new realm of precision and creativity. This strategic expansion was a natural evolution of Ben's skill set, blending his traditional fabrication expertise with the cutting-edge technology of laser cutting
